Our Plan

In the 2028 Iowa Democratic primary, People’s Iowa PAC will endorse one progressive candidate in each of Iowa’s four Congressional districts.

As they declare, our 5-member board (taking applicants!) will vet a candidates’:

‍ ‍

  • Commitment to progressive values

  • Political history

  • Personal background

  • Ability to run a strong campaign

‍ ‍

After vetting, the board will vote to endorse a candidate. This endorsement can be revoked at any time should the need arise. An endorsement triggers two major actions by People’s Iowa PAC:

‍ ‍

  • A maximum direct donation for the primary election

  • Independent expenditures on behalf of (but not in coordination with) the candidate. This includes any kind of political advertising.

‍ ‍

In the event of a primary victory, People’s Iowa PAC will continue to support the candidate via the same two methods in the general.
