‍People’s Iowa PAC will support candidates who unapologetically fight for:

Medicare for All –

Healthcare is a human right. Americans pay increasingly higher costs for worse health outcomes. This is a preventable injustice in the wealthiest nation in the world. The time for universal healthcare is now.

Taxing the rich –

In a new age of robber barons, the people are demanding an end to the corrupt system of government-funded billionaire welfare. It’s time to make the billionaire class pay their fair share.      

Abolishing ICE –

ICE is a creature of the post-9/11 assault on civil liberties. We didn’t need it then and we don’t need it now. Their terror must end and a new era of just immigration policy and enforcement must take its place.

Ending American support for Israel–

Continuing American financial support for Israel and its ongoing genocide in Gaza is a moral stain. It is also a betrayal of the American people. Let’s stop paying to bomb hospitals in another country and build them here instead.

These aren’t “purity tests” anymore than a political party’s platform is a purity test. These are the policy positions that make up People’s Iowa PAC’s endorsement criteria. Outside of these four core issues, the PAC will evaluate a candidate positions for alignment with generally recognized progressive values.
